Greetings friends, I am Laurel, the Herbology-obsessed human behind Natural Herbs Guide. I have always had a keen interest in all things herb-related, and I am infinitely blown away by what healing properties nature has.
My idea for Natural Herbs Guide came about when I realized that there was a distinct lack of resources out there dealing with all herbs. Everything was either focussing solely on well-known herbs or was tucked away in dusty old books.
Now, whilst I love reading through those dusty old books, they just aren’t as accessible or up-to-date as I’d like. That’s when I realized that what we needed was a website dedicated to informing herb-interested people about every herb you can think of. Think of Natural Herbs Guide as your very own virtual library of herbs.
In the Natural Herbs Guide, I will be exploring countless types of herbs, from well-known favorites to obscure and mysterious plants. It will be your go-to guide to tell you everything you need to know about the herb, as well as its properties and safety for use.
Most of the information has come from my own years and years of knowledge, but don’t worry, I always triple-check with existing research! I also relish the opportunity to share with you any new discoveries I have come across through my research, such as Devil’s Claw, one of my latest herbal findings.
Natural Herbs Guide is suitable for everyone, from newbies in the world of herbs to fellow lifelong herbology fans. There is truly something for everyone. So, whether you want to know the basics about some trusty favorites like Dandelion and Milk Thistle, or whether you are interested in some more obscure herbs like Gotu Kola and Horny Goat Weed (yes, that is a real herb, I promise!) you are sure to find something of interest!
Happy reading, friends!
